SPIRITUAL RETREAT

A JOURNEY TO RECONNECT

Join us for a spiritually renewing week at sea,

a retreat designed to quiet the noise, awaken your spirit, and draw you closer to God.

Remove distractions and spend time in nature with God and with friends (old and new).

For seven days, you’ll experience a unique rhythm of:

  • Daily private prayer / reflection time

  • Small-group prayer and devotion

  • Guided spiritual exercises based on The Purpose Driven Life

  • Sailing lessons + hands-on learning experiences

  • Island exploration, snorkeling, beach time, paddleboarding

About the Retreat:

Whether you come by yourself, with a friend or relative or with a small group, this is a time to reconnect with the Lord.  This is about setting up our days and our time to allow God to speak to us, to take time to delight in Him, and to be with an intimate group of others to worship and share together.

There will be time set for individual prayer time, small-group prayer time, small group worship and plenty of fun and relaxation! We will explore some amazing islands, beaches, swim, snorkel and take in the beauty of our surroundings.  Our trips are a “learning experience” as everyone helps with the cooking and learning various aspects of sailing.  It is a great way to build and deepen relationships through shared activities and learning new things!

Focus

As a group we will also have “check-ins” to see how people are doing, share breakthroughs, insights and revelations and to encourage one another.  This always ends up fostering some amazing discussions!

We will spend some time working through some exercises to help you (re)discover your unique God-given talents and discern a vision for what He wants for you to do with those talents.  These exercises are based heavily on The Purpose Driven Life book by Rick Warren.

The rest of the days are filled with fun, recreation, exploration, and working together – as a couple and with the others on the boat.

There is a maximum of 6 guests on the boat boat – each room is double occupancy (same sex only unless married)  We, the Hosts, Jason and Alison will occupy the fourth cabin making it a total of 8 people.

What You’ll Experience

A transformational week combining faith, adventure, and intentional connection.

DAILY PRAYER & REFLECTION

Create space each morning to sit with the Lord, read Scripture, journal, and listen for His voice in an unhurried environment.

SHARED WORSHIP & FELLOWSHIP

Gather with the group for daily worship, prayer circles, and heartfelt conversations that strengthen faith and build authentic spiritual connection.

DISCOVERY THROUGH ADVENTURE

Explore islands, beaches, and turquoise waters while embracing the beauty of God’s creation through swimming, snorkeling, paddleboarding, and quiet moments in nature.

LEARN & GROW TOGETHER

Participate in hands-on sailing experiences, prepare meals as a team, and enjoy the bonding that naturally comes from working and learning alongside others.

SPACE TO REST & RECHARGE

Unplug from everyday noise, slow your pace, and enjoy peaceful moments on deck that renew your spirit and deepen your relationship with God.

MEET YOUR HOSTS

Jason and Alison: Your Hosts and Fellow Travelers

Jason and Alison are passionate about creating meaningful, God-centered experiences where couples can grow, reflect, and reconnect. Having navigated their own journeys of healing, blended family life, spiritual growth, and intentional marriage building, they bring empathy, wisdom, and authenticity to every trip.

They believe in the power of slowing down, being real, and inviting God into every area of life — especially marriage. Their heart is to create a safe, encouraging, and joy-filled retreat where breakthrough happens naturally.

Daily Rhythm

A TYPICAL DAY ON THE WAYMAKER

A schedule on a sailboat is, well simply a guide. With that said, we have a very loose schedule so we can make sure we do not miss the important things! So take the "typical day" as just that - a loose guide.
